Received and framed the California surf map- it will be an awesome conversation piece!
I love to see super original, beautiful ideas like this get created.. It's so different to other wall artwork available and really has a meaning and function to it. Mine is hanging in my hallway now and has already gotten a lot of compliments from guests. It's a great conversation-starter
I was really stuck for a gift idea for my brother - he has everything he needs really. So when I came across this map it immediately stood out as a super unique gift idea for him. I wasn't really sure how it would look in person - in terms of how crisp / sharp it might be. Once received, I was actually very impressed with the sharpness and beauty of the print - all the spot names and info are really easily readable and the NY city design is fantastic
The level of detail in the map really does not come across until you have it in person. It's really beautiful. I got it as a gift for my dad and he really loved it - said it was one of the best gifts he's gotten in a while. Went for the medium wood and the natural grain look complements the design nicely. Highly recommend !
Honestly I’ve been getting tons of compliments. This piece has been shared beautiful from my hallway and I love how I’ve surfed almost a third of the waves on the map. Super urban surf map of California. Would recommend to anyone.
Was searching for the right bday gift for my brother for a while before coming across the LA surf map - it did the job perfectly and he really liked it. Printed on solid wood and looks super in his home now

Love the California Surf Map print...it's hanging by the back window and door going outside on the deck and gets everyone's attention...have already received several compliments...I have a place right on the ocean between Ocean Beach in San Francisoc and Mavericks in Hallf Moon Bay...this is a great addition to the humble abode and a good conversation piece for visitors...thanks for the cool print...

This was a christmas gift for my father who used to surf a lot when he was a younger man. He really liked the map and has it hanging proudly in his home. He enjoys showing the spots where he surfed previously and talking back on the memories. It was a great gift and the buying process was perfect - quick delivery, good communication and no problems. I am happy to give it 5 stars..
I don't usually write reviews but in this case I feel that I must.. I had a small issue with the map which was the fault of the shipping company and bad luck, not the fault of malin and mizen. I got in touch to let them know about it and they were so helpful - immediately got me out a perfect replacement map with no hassle. The new map is beautiful and I really enjoy looking through the spots from time to time and dreaming up new surf trips.
Ordered the Spanish surf map to decorate my new apartment and try to provide some constant inspiration to surf more! I'm really happy with how it turned out - lots of details, lots of spots and the quality of the print is fantastic. It looks great up on the wall and has got lots of compliments / questions from guests even in the few weeks since it's been up. Highly recommend this :)
I bought this map as a gift for my girlfriend who loves surfing after seeing it on instagram. I was not 100% sure how it might look in person from the website. But it really exceeded my expecations when it arrived - it looks fantastic and the detail is just amazing! I got the medium wood print and it's literally printed straight onto wood. this gives it a really unique natural look. my girlfriend was thrilled and i am very happy with the experience, thanks!
