I was really stuck for a gift idea for my brother - he has everything he needs really. So when I came across this map it immediately stood out as a super unique gift idea for him. I wasn't really sure how it would look in person - in terms of how crisp / sharp it might be. Once received, I was actually very impressed with the sharpness and beauty of the print - all the spot names and info are really easily readable and the NY city design is fantastic

The level of detail in the map really does not come across until you have it in person. It's really beautiful. I got it as a gift for my dad and he really loved it - said it was one of the best gifts he's gotten in a while. Went for the medium wood and the natural grain look complements the design nicely. Highly recommend !

This was a christmas gift for my father who used to surf a lot when he was a younger man. He really liked the map and has it hanging proudly in his home. He enjoys showing the spots where he surfed previously and talking back on the memories. It was a great gift and the buying process was perfect - quick delivery, good communication and no problems. I don't usually write reviews but in this case I feel that I must.. I had a small issue with the map which was the fault of the shipping company and bad luck, not the fault of malin and mizen. I got in touch to let them know about it and they were so helpful - immediately got me out a perfect replacement map with no hassle. The new map is beautiful and I really enjoy looking through the spots from time to time and dreaming up new surf trips.

Ordered the Spanish surf map to decorate my new apartment and try to provide some constant inspiration to surf more! I'm really happy with how it turned out - lots of details, lots of spots and the quality of the print is fantastic.
