Mount Williamson is an awe-inspiring peak, rising a stunning 9,000 ft from the Owens Valley. It dominates the horizon, awe-inspiring and imposing upon its surroundings.

Its immense size is matched by its complexity - sheer faces, winding aretes, and boundless gullies, couloirs, and buttresses.

The summit plateau has two formidable subpeaks, the East Horn (14,125 ft) and West Horn (14,160 ft). From the summit, these appear small, but upon facing them, one senses the overwhelming exposure, as though entering the realm of "The Lord of the Rings". An unforgettable and challenging climb awaits!


This shirt design shows the contour lines of Mount Williamson. Contour lines are used on hiking maps to show changes in elevation. For example each contour line passed could indicate 30 feet in elevation gain. The closer the lines are together, the steeper it is.
